NURSERY children are getting ready for a summer of fun as £10,000 is invested in an educational and exciting new garden for them to explore.
The new owners of Clever Clogs Day Nursery, backed by Hartlepool Borough Council, are transforming the garden into a safe, educational and relaxing space.
Boasting play and educational areas, the garden design includes a vegetable garden where children will be taught about the health benefits of, and how to grow, fresh vegetables.
Andrea Townsley, founder of the Clever Clogs Nursery, said: "We aim to mirror our philosophies of exploration, growth, learning and physical development in our outdoor space, so we designed the facilities to enable the children to learn about the environment."
