A FILM-MAKER is appealing for audience extras as he attempts to capture the joy of watching a movie.
Cleveland College of Art and Design student John Noble is hoping to attract people to the Regent Cinema, Redcar, made famous in the war-time blockbuster Atonement.
"I want to promote the whole experience of this classic venue including the digital technology and especially the wonderful new 3D projector," said Mr Noble, who is studying a creative film and moving image production foundation degree student.
"I want the film to show lots of people enjoying the cinema and having a good time including eating their popcorn. It's all part of the experience."
This is his first on-location production and his fellow CCAD students will be the film crew. Previously his talents have taken him to Chepstow Studios as a model maker for Batman Begins, but his focus is now on film making.
He is looking for about 100 extras who will play the part of the audience at the cinema for the film shoot.
They will be needed from January 28 to 30. Anyone interested in being in the film should turn up at the Regent 6pm each night.
There will be a film programme featuring short films by CCAD students and other local film makers during which the movie will be shot.
Anyone requiring further information should contact the film-maker at johnnoblethemovie@hotmail.co.uk
