HIGH flying students have achieved an impressive 100 per cent pass rate in this years Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
In total 24 students from Guisboroughs Prior Pursglove College sat the exam, which is taken alongside traditional A levels and requires students to compile a mini dissertation, with 14 gaining A* grade.
Joe Anderson, 17, from Marske, east Cleveland, chose to do his research for the qualification on the history of the Labour Party.
He said: "I really enjoyed completing the Extended Project, and I found my research particularly rewarding. I was delighted to have my hard work recognised."
Andrew Watts, department manager at Prior Pursglove said: "These young people have done some amazing projects into topics of their own choice such as: how to solve the energy crisis, the psychology of a serial killer, Saturn's rings, Zimbabwean literature and building an electronic musical instrument."
