HUNDREDS of young people are being invited to a hi-tech roadshow offering a range of subjects for a two-year diploma.
All of Redcar and Cleveland's secondary schools can send Year 9 and 11 pupils to the Diploma Roadshow at the Middlesbrough Teaching and Learning Centre on Monday, January 18, from 9am-4pm and Tuesday, January 19, from 1pm-7pm.
There are also time slots for parents/carers, employers, teaching and Council staff to attend on Monday, from 2.45pm-4pm and Tuesday, from 2.45pm-7pm.
The roadshows will give valuable information to young people who will be deciding what courses to study.
The Council's Cabinet Member for Children's Services and Education Councillor Ian Jeffrey said: "These are exciting learning opportunities offering real alternatives to young people and I'm sure the roadshows will be an exciting experience, too."
Students will be invited to enter the roadshow, an indoor stand alone environment, using striking inflatable structures, bold branding and coloured lighting, for an hour, with the visit split into four distinct areas.
