REDCAR and Cleveland Council's new apprentices have won praise for their organisational skills in hosting a presentation for the borough's learners.
The council's Community Skills Team set the apprentices, split into four teams, the task of setting up the Celebration of Achievement Award Ceremony at Redcar Education Development Centre.
Councillor Ian Jeffrey, the council's cabinet member for children's services and education, said: "The apprentices' initiative, creativity and problem-solving made the event a huge success."
There were gift voucher prizes for the winning team - Katie Marlowe, Alexander Kirk, John Patterson and Paul Burnett.
Certificates were presented to 120 adult learners, who attend the Community Skills Learners' Initiative, based at Coatham Learning Centre, Redcar.
