BRAVE souls could be scared witless when the venture out on a ghost walk around Hartlepool's Headland.
Historian Steve Robbins will lead the free walk on Friday night and will take in the ghost of the Grey Lady, the butler who still looks out the window of a house, and the cyclist who vanishes half way across Redheugh Gardens.
Over the years there have been several other reports of ghosts on the Headland.
Mr Robbins, who works for Hartlepool Council, said: "There are a lot of interesting myths and legends associated with the Headland and many reports of ghosts.
"During the walk I will be revealing some famous and other less famous known stories that make up the history of the town. These walks are always very popular."
The walk starts at the Heugh Lighthouse, Moor Terrace at 6.30pm and will last until around 8pm. People are advised to bring a torch and children must be accompanied by an adult.
