YOUNG people across Redcar and Cleveland are being praised for their success in tackling healthy eating and combating bullying.
And students from Redcar's Sacred Heart RC Secondary School will ensure there will be a healthy start at the Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium on Friday supplying a variety of appetising snacks.
They are one of ten schools who have achieved the Healthy Schools Award, while nine schools have Anti-Bullying Charters for Action in place.
Councillor Ian Jeffrey, the council's cabinet member for children's services and education said: "It's important to recognise that children in our schools can achieve more than just academic success.
"And I'm delighted to report that the accomplishments of these students mean the majority of our schools have now reached these standards."
The Council's Mayor Councillor Brian Briggs will be presenting the awards and enjoying an afternoon of entertainment, produced by pupils.
These include a performance by Sacred Heart of their Anti-Bullying Song and presentations from Gillbrook School on healthy lifestyles, Green Gates Primary and St Peter's work on anti-bullying.
