A woman had her bag stolen after getting off a bus in Bishopton Road, in Stockton, at around 4pm on Tuesday.
A man pushed her to the floor and grabbed the bag from behind as she walked past Sainsbury’s. He ran off towards Newstead Avenue.
The man is described as white, around 6ft tall, medium build, early 20s, with black combed back hair. He was wearing a black mac or coat and dark bottoms.
The bag is bright orange, with a fluffy monkey on the side.
