THREE stolen caravans and a quantity of drugs were recovered by police during an early morning raid.
The caravans were recovered from Ashfield Caravan Park which is on the outskirts of Hartlepool on Monday morning.
During a search of the premises police recovered the caravans which have a combined worth of around £40,000 and a large quantity of what is believed to be class C drugs.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft and charged with possession of class C drugs.
He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries in connection with the theft.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
