A CAR was found overturned on a roundabout when fire crews arrived at the scene of a Road Traffic Accident.
The incident occurred on Urlay Nook Road in Eaglescliffe, fire crews received a call at 3.26pm with a stop time being recorded at 3.40pm.
Sean Smith, Crew Manager of Blue Watch at Thornaby Fire Station said: “When we arrived on the scene a car was upturned in the middle of the roundabout.
“The man who had been driving the car was already out of it and was being tended by the ambulance crews, he doesn’t appear to have sustained any serious injuries.”
Two fire engines were sent from Thornaby Fire Station along with an emergency tender and support vehicle from Stockton Fire Station.
