POLICE have arrested a 31-year-old man after he was allegedly seen breaking into a vehicle in Grangetown, Middlesbrough.
It happened at around 4.20am on Wednesday morning on Bolckow Road when officers arrested a man who was allegedly attempting to break into a Nissan Qashqai.
They also recovered from him a small quantity of suspected class A drugs, believed to be heroin.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted theft from a vehicle and possession of class A drugs.
He remains in police custody at this time.
Cleveland Police have also carried out a drugs raid in Stockton which resulted in one arrest.
Stockton Neighbourhood Officers conducted a drugs warrant on Bowesfield Lane in Stockton on Sunday.
Class B drugs and CS spray was recovered from the property and 40-year-old was arrested and released under investigation.
