A LOCAL cancer charity is putting its activities and plans up for scrutiny at a special event.
The Look A Head Cancer Campaign, which raises awareness of head and neck cancers, is hosting a buffet supper and presentation at the Acklam Green Centre, Middlesbrough.
The group will highlight recent successes and future plans at the event on Friday, July 19.
Special guests will be entertainers Wett ‘n' Wilde, who are holding their third variety performance in aid of the Head and Neck Cancer Unit at James Cook University Hospital on Sunday, October 6 at Whitby Pavilion.
Head and neck cancer is a particular issue for the north-east of England and several former patients will be attending to give their views on the way forward.
