STALLS specifically aimed at children are pitching up for the first time in Stockton.
The Kiddiwinks Market will be offering products and gifts for babies, toddlers and expectant mothers as well running activity sessions to keep youngsters entertained.
It is being held in the parish gardens on Saturday, March 8, from 10am to 3pm.
Free sessions include ‘Funky Feet’ dance and movement classes as well as messy craft activities run by the team at Preston Park Museum and Grounds. Stockton Libraries will also be on hand to get children involved in a ‘Rhyme Time’ music group aimed at pre-schoolers.
Councillor Mike Smith, Stockton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport, said: “We want to continue to attract visitors and shoppers into the town centre to enjoy a range of markets and independent traders.
"The new Kiddiwinks market is a great addition to the lively specialist market programme this year.”
