A cyclist suffered cuts and bruises when he was knocked to the ground after a collision with a car.
Police are appealing for information about the incident in which a dark blue Audi A4 failed to stop.
The 34-year-old male cyclist was riding along Catcote Road, in Hartlepool, in the direction of the Fens estate from Brierton Lane at around 12.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 19).
The car, which was heading in the same direction, collided with the cyclist as they approached the junction of Dalkeith Road and then drove off.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Matthew Kenning from Cleveland Police on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting event number 27671.
