The Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio is playing Middlesbrough Town Hall on Tuesday, October 8, at 7.45pm. NETBALL MATCH: Roseworth Lodge Care Home in Stockton, part of Four Seasons Health Care, has organised a netball match between its staff and the Stockton High Street branch of Boots chemist. It is being held on Wednesday, October 9, at Queens Campus Durham University at 6.15pm to raise money for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Middlesbrough.

KICK OFF: Junior football teams can still enter the Grayfield Street Leagues in Hartlepool which kicked off the new season last weekend. The competition is open to both boys and girls and comprises leagues for teams of under-10s, under-12s, under-14s and under-16s. There is also coaching for under-8s. Matches take place every Friday from 6pm-9pm on the all-weather pitch at Grayfields recreation ground, off Jesmond Gardens, and will continue until next March.
