A TEENAGE boy was robbed of his bike after he was approached by two males who wanted to use his mobile phone.
The 16-year-old was targeted at about 9pm on Sunday, June 2 as he rode his bike on Clynes Road past the junction of Attlee Road in Eston, near Middlesbrough.
The two males asked the boy if they could borrow his mobile phone and then asked if they could borrow his bike. When he refused, one of the males forced the boy from his bike and made off with it.
The bike is a black Carrera Vulcan mountain bike with white and green patterning.
The first male is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, aged in his mid twenties with unshaven brown hair which was going bald at the back. He was wearing a blue hooded top and grey bottoms with a yellow stripe.
The second male is described as white and was wearing all black clothing.
Anyone with information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of the bike is asked to contact Kirkleatham CID on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
