Over 200 final year graduates from Cleveland College of Art and Design will be showcasing their work in ‘The Show ‘13’ in Hartlepool Art Gallery and the college buildings in Church Square nearby.
The free exhibition will be launched to the public tomorrow (THURS) between 6pm and 9pm until Saturday, June 15. The launch event will feature street theatre, outdoor games the décor will be based on the theme of ‘Beach Meets Baroque’.
On display will be a range of creations by students including award-winning textiles featured in trade shows in Paris and New York and collections recently on show in London during Graduate Fashion Week.
Liam Bradley, Marketing Officer for Cleveland College of Art and Design, said: “We are a major art and design centre for the North-East and our mission is to set trends rather than to follow them.
“This exhibition celebrates the work of our degree students, which is absolutely stunning and of a highly professional standard, and to showcase that work both to members of the public and to the art and design sector as a whole.”
