YOUNGSTERS braved the unseasonal cold and wet weather to enjoy a family fun day.
The event offered something for everybody including rides and fun for the children, with a bouncy castle, giant inflatable slides, magician and face painter.
Local traders were also on hand selling cakes, jams, arts and crafts, plants and hanging baskets at the fifth annual Grove Hill outdoor event took place at Acklam Iron and Steelworks club on Park Road South, Middlesbrough, on Wednesday.
As well as the fun and games a number of local bodies, including Cleveland Fire Brigade, were on hand to provide home safety advice, while staff from Cleveland Police, Middlesbrough Council’s library service, museums service and SureStart centres were also giving out information.
