CARELESS DRIVING: Colette Marie Daley, of Church Lane, Eston, near Middlesbrough, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention after she pulled in front of a van and put on the brakes forcing the driver to hit the rear of her Audi car. Teesside Magistrates’ Court heard that the van driver had bumped into her as she drove along the A66, near Middlesbrough, and she decided to force him to pull over as they both drove onto the A19 by driving in front of the van. The 57-year-old was fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge. Her licence was also endorsed with five penalty points.
