ARTIST Daniel Bye is seeking out tales of Stockton for a new show. In preparation for his new work, Story Map on Wednesday, June 26, Mr Bye will be setting up a booth in Stockton Town Centre on Friday, April 5, and is asking people to come and visit him and share stories of Stockton.
COMPOST BIN: People in Hartlepool are being urged to take advantage of a discounted home composting bin offer before prices rise next month. The cheapest compost bin currently on offer through a scheme run by the Borough Council is £16 plus a £5.49 delivery charge, but this price will increase to £16.98 from Monday, April 1. EASTER ACTIVITIES: Easter activities for children have been organised in Hartlepool libraries for the holidays. Making Easter bowls, heart and flower garlands and Venetian masks, creepy crawly crafts and Easter Read and Rhyme sessions are among the activities, all of which are free unless otherwise indicated.
