Sixthformers at Conyers’ School in Yarm grilled Stockton South MP, James Wharton today. As well as learning about pursuing a political career teenagers also heard from other professionals about different career paths.

EASTER FUN: Children can be entertained during the Easter holidays at events being held at libraries across Hartlepool. Easter bowls can be made on at the central library on York Road on Tuesday, April 2, by five to 12-year-olds from 11am to noon, the session costs £4.50 per child and places must be booked by calling 01429-272905. A free ‘read and rhyme’ session for under fives is being held at the same venue from 2pm to 3pm.

REDCAR FAIR: Newcomen Methodist Church in Redcar will be holding its annual Easter fair tomorrow (SAT) from 2pm with all the proceeds going towards church funds.
