VISITORS to a library can expect to pick up more than books and DVDs as it plays host to a Winter Bazaar later this month.
On Friday, November 9 and Saturday 10, between 10am and 4pm, there will be a host of stalls in Thornaby Central Library from people to browse, offering the chance to pick up some different gifts in the run up to Christmas.
There will be added fun for youngsters with a face painter ready to create some festive magic.
Councillor Ken Dixon, Stockton Council's cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture, said: "The Winter Bazaar will provide the perfect opportunity to find that unusual and different gift for someone at Christmas.
"Visitors to the Library can enjoy a festive treat when they head along and I would encourage people to take a look and enjoy all the Bazaar has to offer."
