REPRESENTATIVES from Teesside University are set to fly out for their annual visit to South East Asia.
The university, which has an overseas office in Malaysia, are sending their Vice-Chancellor and student recruitment staff on the trip, which will see them congratulate almost 300 graduates on their achievements.
This year, 296 students in the region studied towards Teesside University Higher Education Awards. The Vice-Chancellor will attend their graduation ceremony where he will also present an honorary doctorate to renowned interior designer Eric Leong.
The university has more than 500 graduates resident in the region and will host a dinner for their alumni as part of the trip.
Teesside University say such visits are critical in raising the international profile of the university to prospective students worldwide and in maintaining global partnerships.
