HEALTH club members had a novel idea to raise vital funds for a children’s hospice.
Carol Hugill, a member of Bannatyne’s in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough, organised a book stall and managed to raise £840 for Zoe’s Place through cash donations for unwanted books.
Health club general manager, Chris Felstead, said: “Zoë’s Place is a great cause, they do an amazing job looking after very poorly babies and young children supporting their families and I’m proud that the members and staff here have been able to help.”
