RACIST GRAFFITI: Police are appealing for information after racist graffiti was daubed on two properties in Grange Road, Hartlepool, and a large bay window was smashed. Two houses were targeted in the incident, which happened between 11.25pm and 11.35pm on Friday, October 19. The graffiti was written in blue marker pen on a wall of one property and a door of another, one of these homes also suffered criminal damage after the window was smashed. WASTE COLLECTION: Residents are being reminded garden waste collections end for the winter on Friday, November 2. Householders can take their garden waste to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Haverton Hill and Nature’s World on Ladgate Lane in Middlesbrough where there are designated garden waste skips.
