Richmond's Tourist Information centre has re-opened.
Operating from new premises on the ground floor of what was once a cinema and now houses Rodbers DIY, the centre is open seven days a week, managed by Hilda Ellis and the same team of dedicated volunteers.
As well as a wealth of local knowledge, the centre offers a wide range of maps, guidebooks, quality souvenirs and gifts and an accommodation booking service. Hilda is particularly keen to hear from accommodation providers who would like to be included on the centre's lists.
Richmond's mayor, Cllr Stuart Parsons said "Thank God and Hilda. It was desparately needed and we are absolutely delighted to see it open again."
The centre is open 7 days a week, Mondays to Saturdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm and on Sundays from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
