PEOPLE living in the North York Moors National Park are being invited to have their say about local services.

The National Park Authority is asking people to complete an on-line residents survey.

Chairman Jim Bailey said: “What our residents and businesses think is very important to our work and we need to hear from them to make sure they help us make the right decisions in the future.”

Among other things the survey asks residents how they rate its services and it wants to know whether they are in favour of community meetings.

At the moment, the authority only runs Parish Forums which are aimed mainly at parish councillors but are also open to the public.

A residents’ survey was last carried out in the Park in 2008. To take part in the survey visit: http://www.northyorkmoors.org.uk
