TWO new members are being sought to join a national park’s decision-making body.
The vacancies have arisen on the North York Moors National Park’s team of members.
The roles cover management decisions for the park, covering wildlife, archaeology, education, planning, recreation and communications.
Candidates have to show a good awareness of the issues affecting national parks generally and be able to commit two to three days a month to authority work.
The two appointments will be made by the Government’s Environment Secretary, Owen Paterson, and the deadline for applications is November 16. Appointments start in April next year.
