A FORMER teacher is hoping to get back in touch with a 1950s college friend she believes lives in the Richmond area.
Thelma Bruce – nee Short – was on the same teaching course in London as Kathleen Hull and the pair lived together in the capital for a year in 1951 after they qualified.
Mrs Bruce, 80, later moved to Lowestoft where she remains and Kathleen was the head bridesmaid at her wedding in 1957, but the pair haven’t seen each other since.
Mrs Bruce believes Kathleen, from Richmond, got married and now has the surname ‘Jelley’ and a daughter called Claire.
She said there was no reason the friends lost touch and she would love to hear from Kathleen again.
