FORMER Bedale High School student Katherine Robins is celebrating after winning an apprentice of the year award.
The 19-year-old, who works for Phlebotomy Training Services, in Northallerton, won the prize in the Star Radio Awards at the Xcel centre, in Newton Aycliffe, last week.
She was overjoyed to win the Award which colleagues said was very well deserved.
Phlebotomy Training Services was founded in 2007 by Alison Purkiss and from its base in the Evolution Business Centre in Northallerton has trained people across the country to take blood.
