POLICE are investigating after a moped was stolen from Catterick Garrison.
The silver Yamaha moped was taken from the rear of a house in Bedford Close. sometime between 4pm on Friday and 12.30pm the following day.
PC Nicola Pattinson, of Catterick police, said: “The moped is in good condition and the owner said she could easily recognise it.
“I am appealing to the public to help her get it back and urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the theft to contact the police or Crimestoppers with information.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered a moped for sale recently.”
The chassis number of the vehicle is VTLSA-221000005059.
