PEOPLE are being offered the chance to see, buy and learn something different at the York and North Yorkshire Waste Partnership’s “Choose2Reuse” fairs.
The fairs will showcase collections of charity and vintage chic and creations from local designers, artists and crafts people.
The fairs are part of the Choose2Reuse campaign, which aims to prevent reusable goods from becoming waste and to help people save people money by extending the life of everyday goods through rethinking and redesigning or repairing and mending.
The partnership chairman, County Councillor Chris Metcalfe, said: “The Choose2Reuse Fairs offer an opportunity for all the family to see some incredible reused and recycled goods, learn a new craft and with Christmas fast approaching buy some unique gifts.”
The fairs will take place on: Saturday 5th November 5, 10am to 4pm, at Hambleton Forum, Northallerton; December 3, 10am to 4pm, at York Racecourse; and December 17, 10am to 4pm, The Pavilions, Harrogate.
