POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was involved in a collision with a coach.
The 46-year-old cyclist was riding along the A171, near Whitby, North Yorkshire, at about 4pm, on Monday, June 20, when he was hit by a passing coach.
The man, from Goathland, was not seriously injured in the collision, which took place between the turn-off for Robin Hood’s Bay and the junction with the B1416.
The coach was brown in colour and had the words Generation Travel written on the side.
PC Neil Graham, of Whitby police, said: "Fortunately, the cyclist was not seriously injured in the incident but the coach did make contact with him.
"I am appealing for anyone who saw the incident or saw either the coach or the cyclist prior to the collision to contact the police as soon as they can."
