BOOKWORMS are invited to an afternoon tea event, with appearances from two authors, to mark the first-ever national reading group day.
Castle Hill book shop, in Richmond, is hosting the event at the Zetland Centre, at 3pm, on Saturday, June 25.
Emma Craigie’s book, Chocolate Cake with Hitler, has been a hit with both teenagers and adults.
It was nominated for the Carnegie Medal and the Author’s Club First Novel award.
Julia Stagg’s novel, L’Auberge, about the perils of an English couple buying a restaurant in Southern France to the horror of local inhabitants reflects her own experiences.
Tickets are priced £5 and include afternoon tea.
