THE three-time winners of the Wensleydale Tournament of Song are to perform a concert to raise funds for an historic theatre.
Musicality, a Richmond based ladies choir, will perform a mix of choral music at the Georgian Theatre Royal on Saturday, May 14, at 7.30pm.
The programme features songs by contemporary choral composers John Rutter and Bob Chilcott, classics by George Gershwin, Paul Simon and Sting and songs from stage and film musicals.
The concert will also feature classical guitarist, saxophonist and clarinettist Ian Cobb.
Jean Robinson, the choir’s founder and co-ordinator, says, "The Georgian Theatre Royal is the jewel in Richmond’s crown and it is a privilege to be involved in helping to raise funds for our beautiful and unique theatre".
Tickets priced £7 to £18 are available from the box office on 01748-825252.
