HEALTHY WALKS: The latest round of free walks by the Richmond Swale Valley Walking for Health group will start at the following times and locations: Monday at the bus stops near Tesco, at Catterick Garrison, at 10.15am and at the Richmond Trading Estate cafe at 6pm and Wednesday, May 18, at Richmond Pool, at 10.15am.
ORGAN RECITAL: Dr Christopher Witton, a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, will give a recital at St Peters Church, in Osmotherley, on Friday, June 10, at 7.30pm.
Dr Witton will perform works by Mendelssohn and Bach, as well as the Finale to Vierne’s first organ symphony.

HOSPICE FUNDRAISER: The Richmond Support Group is celebrating the 25th anniversary of St Teresa’s Hospice, in Darlington, with an Anniversary Cash in the Attic event at The King's Head Hotel, Richmond, at 7pm, on Friday May 20.
A number of donated items will be sold by silent auction.
Tickets are £5 and available from the Richmond Tourist Information Office.
LUNCH CONCERT: The first performers in a series of lunchtime concerts held at Ripon Cathedral starting on Thursday, at 1.15pm, will be a group of music students from Leeds University.
The free concerts will be held every Thursday and refreshments will be available.
HISTORY TALK: The Friends of the Swaledale Museum will hear a talk by archaeologist Annie Hamilton-Gibney on Saturday at 2pm, at Fremington Sunday School.
The talk has the title Cumbrian Connections - What can recent fieldwalking projects in the Eden Valley tell us about movement in the Neolithic landscape?
Non-members are welcome to attend the talks.
Admission for friends is £3, visitors £4.

WHIST DRIVES: Richmond Town Hall will host whist drives every Friday at 7pm for the rest of the month.
Admission is £1.50 and all proceeds from the month will be donated to charity.
