RAIDERS who broke into a North Yorkshire home escaped with a haul of jewellery worth around £10,000.
The thieves forced their way into a house in Duchy Road, Harrogate, through a window sometime during Friday evening.
And police have now released images of some of the most distinctive of the stolen items in the hope that someone may recognise them.
Among the stolen jewellery was a platinum dress ring inset with diamonds and a large emerald, which is valued at around £4,000.
A 20th-century rose gold, filed curb chain and pair of gold and platinum diamond inset earrings, were also taken in the raid.
Two further distinctive items are missing following the burglary; a rare 1960 Breitling Cosmonaute watch, valued at £2,000 and a set of Peruvian NASCAR cufflinks.
Detective Constable Pete Allison said: “I am appealing for anyone who can help us trace the items stolen to get in touch with information.
“Some of the items are very valuable and distinctive and you may recognise them if you have been offered them for sale.”
He added: “This is obviously a very upsetting time for the victims and I urge anyone with information that can help the police reunite them with their property and bring the offenders to justice to come forward.”
Anyone with any information is urged to contact police on 0845-60-60-247.
Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800-555-111.
