VISITORS to the Civic Centre in Northallerton can find how energy-smart they are at driving this week.
As part of the district council’s support of Energy Saving Week, the Energy Saving Trust’s driving simulator will be parked at the centre for two days.
It tests driving skills and shows how by changing habits money can also be saved and emissions reduced - and the free tips could add up to the equivalent of one month’s free petrol a year.
The simulator will be available on Thursday and Friday, October 28 and 29, from 10am until 4pm at the council’s Stone Cross headquarters.
Members of the Energy Saving Trust will also be on hand with advice and tips for the home.
