A NORTH Yorkshire parish has gone "live" in its bid to bring residents together to plan its future.
It has launched a website to allow the 300 local people have a say on issues affecting the community now and in the future.
The parish of Danby Wiske with Lazenby – which also takes in Streetlam – is in the process of producing a Parish Plan.
Last year after 90 per cent of residents gave their support, a steering committee of local groups and residents was set up and funding won from the Big Lottery to produce a questionnaire.
Now that questionnaire has gone live on danbywiske.org.uk and all views expressed will be used to help form the final plan.
Danby Wiske is the 23rd parish in Hambleton to create such a plan with a plan for Tollerton almost complete.
