POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an outdoor jacket worth £200 was stolen from a store in Northallerton.
The theft took place between 11.30am and 12.15pm yesterday, at the Yorkshire Ramblers Store, in the town’s Garthway Arcade.
A red Berghaus jacket, worth £200, was stolen.
The thief is described as white, in his late teens, about 5ft 9in, with a slim build and short, dark cropped hair.
He was wearing a black jacket, with a small Fred Perry logo on the chest, and dark trousers.
Following the theft, the suspect made off down the alleyway linking the Applegarth car park and Northallerton High Street.
Witnesses are asked to call PC Stephen Robinson, of Northallerton police, quoting reference number 12100002571.
