Children from Crakehall CE Primary School, near Bedale, with the shoeboxes of Christmas gifts they collected for underprivileged youngsters in Romania
PRIMARY school children have shown their generosity by collecting more than 50 boxes full of Christmas gifts for underprivileged youngsters.
Pupils from Crakehall CE Primary School collected gifts, toiletries and treats for the Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoebox appeal.
The school took part in a recent assembly at St Gregory’s Church, in Bedale, to celebrate and bless the boxes.
This year, the boxes will be sent to young people in Romania
