PEOPLE in the Hambleton area are being urged to do something different next week – and raise money for Children in Need.
To coincide with the unveiling of Thirsk Swimming Pool’s new studio a two-week programme of new fitness classes and activities are being held for free.
The only thing asked of the customers is that everyone makes a donation to Children in Need.
The programme began yesterday and includes a range of new activities for all ages and abilities.
And on November 20 customers are encouraged go along dressed for Children in Need day – wearing a spotty item of clothing.
Official spotty items are available from bbc.co.uk/pudsey/ but all creations are welcome.
