THE North York Moors is getting in the festive spirit by hosting two Christmas fairs.
Taking place at the Moors National Park Centre at Danby on November 28 and 29 and at Sutton Bank National Park Centre on December 5 and 6, entry to the fairs and the centres is free of charge.
Visitors to the Sutton Bank event can test their acting skills by learning and performing a Christmas mini musical.
And at the Moors National Park Centre there will be a Victorian theme with additional activities including pony and trap rides, birds of prey flying demonstrations and an exhibition by a group of local arts and crafts people.
A free shuttle bus will run between the Moors National Park Centre and Danby village hall on 28/29 November so people can also visit the Esk Valley Enterprise Christmas Market.
More information on the centres and directions on how to get there can be found at visitthemoors.co.uk/visitorcentres
