THE team behind the Great Yorkshire Show are celebrating again with the news that their new home has won another award.
The £5m Regional Agricultural Centre at the Harrogate showground has been named as a winner in the Estates Gazette 2009 Green Awards.
It follows hot on the heels of the centre taking the prize in the New Build category of the Harrogate Civic Society Design Awards.
The judges for the latest award said: "Small certainly is beautiful in this instance.
"This thoughtful design works in harmony with its rural surroundings and its outstanding green credentials make this mixed-use building a leading light for other smaller-scale developments."
The chief executive of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, Nigel Pulling , said: "To win not one, but two major awards in a fortnight is a tremendous achievement, and speaks volumes for the exceptional quality of our building and the team which has worked so hard on the project."
