LEISURE centres across the Hambleton district are gearing up for another busy half term of children’s activities.
As part of the Hyper Holidays programme, the centres at Bedale, Northallerton, Stokesley and Thirsk have organised sporting, educational, art based and other activities to entertain the youngsters from October 26 to 30.
And children can also get some extra help with their swimming with week long crash courses at each centre.
Bedale also has basketball, Halloween themed craft and ‘Fence, Run, Shoot’ sessions. And the Sports Academy will be open.
Young people in Thirsk can try street dance or cheerleading cyber coach, kayaking, football coaching with Middlesbrough Football Club or get involved with Halloween Art Attack - an arts based workshop.
Over in Stokesley the centre is offering sessions in Creepy Collages, Mask and Pumpkin making, Match of the Day and Multi Sports.
And among the activities at Northallerton based Hambleton Leisure Centre are Crafty Creations, hockey, trampolining and Mayhem Madness – the action packed day includes everything from bouncy castle, games, football and those aged eight and over swimming.
