A SHORT stretch of the A684 under the A1 bridge at Leeming Bar in North Yorkshire will close overnight on October 17.
The closure, as part of the £318m A1 Dishforth to Leeming upgrade scheme, will last from 7pm to 7am and will allow the completion of major drainage work.
There will also be temporary traffic lights at the site until October 26.
Work to upgrade the 13-mile stretch of the A1 between Dishforth and Leeming to motorway standard started in March and is expected to be completed by spring 2012.
