A FAMILY business is expanding by opening a new cafe in a nearby town.
Penleys, which opened a business in Richmond last pear after several successful tears of trading in Leyburn, has opened a new cafe at the Old Station in Masham.
Owner Amanda Penrose said: "Having successfully run our Leyburn and Richmond cafes for a number of years, opening the cafe at the Old Station is a great opportunity for us here at Penleys to further develop the brand within North Yorkshire.
"The cafe not only serves the lovely Old Station campsite, but will also hopefully attract the passing customer and those from the surrounding area for great food in a beautiful setting."
The cafe held its grand opening last week and is now open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 9am to 5pm.
