SMALL-scale projects are set to benefit from a share in a £45,000 pool of council cash.

Ryedale has launched its community grants fund for the coming year, with awards of up to £5,000 for projects such as equipment or building improvements and community events and projects supporting local people.

There are two rounds of grant applications. The closing date for round one is July 31 and for round two is February 8 next year.
