AN ACTRESS from BBC comedy Mrs Brown's Boys has spent an afternoon with pupils at a primary school near Pickering.
Susie Blake, who plays Hilary Nicholson in the hit show, was making a short visit to Ryedale when she stepped into West Heslerton Primary School.
While at the school she took part in lessons and watched a dance performance prepared by the children.
Headteacher, Rachel Wells, said Ms Blake had been very impressed with the pupils who had learned the dance in just eight hours with the help of Malton-based Dance Expression.
"She had a lovely afternoon and commented how well the children did to learn and perform so well after being taught for such a short time," she added.
"The children were not aware that she was a well-known actress so they acted completely as normal but we did find out she is in the new film Nativity 3 so we will be looking out for her in that."
