MEMBERS of Richmond Taekwondo club have won the club’s first international fight medals with a gold and two silver medals.
Black belt Tracy Hook, was awarded a silver while sisters Lisa and Sara Seline brought home a silver and gold respectively from the Dutch Masters last month.
Tracy, 42, who has been a member of the club for three years, said: " Anyone can get involved with Taekwondo, it is not all about the fighting – there is a self defence element but it is also about the ‘poomsae’ or patterns of movement. It is great to keep fit and meet new people.”
“The clubs take people of all levels of fitness and ability and children are welcome too.”
Chi-Taekwondo meets at Richmond School on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6.30pm until 8pm for £3.50 a lesson. Contact 07597-081365 for details or attend one of the sessions.
